Profile Description
Dr. O'Connell holds a temporary license because she recently moved to New Brunswick. She is also a fully registered psychologist in Manitoba. Dr. O'Connell sees children, adolescents, and adults for therapy. In therapy, she integrates strategies from various evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also offers diagnostic assessments for school-aged children (6+), adolescents, and adults. She has a particular interest in neurodiversity, and enjoys assessing for Autism and ADHD in adults.
