Profile Description
I have been a Clinical Psychologist licensed for practice in New Brunswick (Lic. No.: 290) for approximately 30 years. I hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the Université de Moncton (1991). I am a past chair of the Professional Affairs Committee of the College of Psychologists of NB, a Board member (Director) of the NB Canadian Mental Health Association and a Member of the Discipline Committee (2016 to present). I have experience conducting psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational and disability evaluations for various referral sources (e.g., Disability management firms, Insurance companies, Department of Veterans Affairs Canada, Employee Assistance Programs, WorkSafeNB, RCMP, etc.). I currently provide treatment services to individuals of various age groups with mental health issues, work, trauma, and relationship or family problems. I have also received specialized training in assessing and treating clients with posttraumatic stress disorder and relationship violence. I use an eclectic approach to counselling with techniques in Reality Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution -Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR Therapy. I am the Psychology and Wellness Centre owner, a multidisciplinary clinic located in the heart of Dieppe, NB.
