Profile Description
I am a psychologist working in private practice since 2017 - prior to that, I worked for the Correctional Services of Canada between 2010-2014, and in the hospital setting from 2014-2017. Currently, my main area of focus/practice is on the assessment/treatment of traumatic psychological injuries including but not limited to workplace trauma, interpersonal trauma, childhood trauma, and/or sexual trauma. I have special interest in working with people who work in environments such as correctional services (federal or provincial), police (RCMP, or municipal police forces), first responders (paramedics, fire fighters), military, ex-military (Veterans Affairs Canada), etc. I am very familiar with processes for workplace injuries, including WorkSafe NB, as well as Veterans Affairs Canada. I am also trained to offer multiple forms of evidence-based trauma-focused treatments for any trauma-related issues (post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorder, childhood trauma, and/or complex forms of PTSD). Other areas of practice include the treatment of anxiety, and/or comorbid mood disorders.
